Week 4 in the NFL

Week 4 in the NFL.

Boy this is going to be tough this week. The spreads are right, in my mind, and it is going to be a coin flip on most of these games. Then again the One-Eyed Monkey uses a coin flip to pick his teams, the advantage this week goes to the O.E.M.

Again here are the match-ups (with point spread), My Pick, followed by O.E.M.’s pick.

San Diego at New England (-5.5), New England, San Diego
Denver at Jacksonville (-4), Jacksonville, Jacksonville
Houston at Cincinnati (-10), Cincinnati, Cincinnati
Indianapolis at Tennessee (+7), Tennessee, Indianapolis
Philadelphia at Kansas City (-1.5), Philadelphia, Kansas City
Detroit at Tampa Bay (-6.5), Tampa, Tampa
St Louis at NY Giants (-3), NY, NY
Buffalo at New Orleans (In San Antonio) (pick-em), Buffalo, New Orleans
Seattle at Washington (-2), Seattle, Washington
NY Jets at Baltimore (-7), Baltimore, Jets
Minnesota at Atlanta (-6), Minnesota, Atlanta
Dallas at Oakland (-3.5), Oakland, Dallas
San Francisco at Arizona (in Mexico City)(-2.5), San Fran, San Fran
Green Bay at Carolina (-7.5), Carolina, Carolina

I only see one good bet in the pro games this week. The Jets are down to the third string Quarterback. The Ravens Defense will outscore the Jet’s Offense this game and the Ravens will rediscover they have a very good running back they’ve forgotten. Jamal Lewis will get 200 yards total offense alone, he’ll get more offense by himself than the Jets total offense. This will be a blow out.  I’m betting big on this one. I also placed a wager on Buffalo over New Orleans.

In College bets, I taking my alma mater Western Michigan University (-10) and I am also betting for Arizona (+16.5) at Cal. Oh Cal will beat them, but the U of A always plays good teams tough, the score will be closer than many expect.
