Week 7 in the NFL

Week 7 in the NFL.

This is the time of year when I wish I followed college football.  Most of the games in the NFL this week have point spreads of 3 or less and Damn-it those lines-makers are usually right on about the point spread. One or two plays in a game can determine the outcome.
Here are the match-ups, followed by point spread, my pick and the One-Eyed Monkey’s pick.

Kansas City at Miami (-1.5), Miami, Kansas City
Tennessee at Arizona (-3.5), Tennessee, Tennessee
Baltimore at Chicago (-1), Baltimore, Baltimore
Pittsburgh at Cincinnati (-1), Cincinnati, Pittsburgh
Detroit at Cleveland (-3), Detroit, Detroit
Green Bay at Minnesota (+2), Minnesota, Green Bay
Indianapolis at Houston (+16), Indy, Indy
Denver at NY Giants (-2), Denver, Denver
Buffalo at Oakland (-3), Oakland, Buffalo
San Diego at Philly (-4), San Diego, Philly
Dallas at Seattle (-3), Seattle, Dallas
N.O. at St. Louis (-3), St. Louis, N.O.
San Francisco at Washington (-12.5), San Francisco, Washington

Comments: Washington plays as well as competition; game will be closer than 13. Giants favored over Denver – you’re kidding right?

In the most important feature, the betting department, (That’s why you are reading this Blog right?) I’ve bet big on Indy, Seattle, Denver and Cincinnati. If Ben Roethlisberger can’t make it through the game they have Charlie Batch (ex-Lion savior) to take his place.
I’m also betting small bets on Oakland and Tennessee.
